1863 HISTORY: Williams History of Wash Co, OH pg 604: 1863 Wm Little & Reason Kendall quarreled abt some domestic trouble. One day as Little riding along rd 3 miles nw of Matamoris, Kendall...fired upon Little with rifle..instant dth. Kendall convicted, served time in St prison, but was pardoned.
1863-1865 COURT: Ct of Common Pleas-St vs Reason Kindle, indictmnt murder 1st deg, verdict guilty murder 2nd deg; indictmnt nollied as 1st & 2nd deg, def plead guilty of manslaughter, sentenced to 4 yrs in pen.
