Will quote p. 406 "In the name of God, Amen,Jan 28 1773, I Egbert Haughwout, of Richmond Co., being weak in body. I direct all debts to be paid. I leave to my eldest son, Pieter, 10. All my whole estate is to remain in the hands of my wife Nelly during the time of her being my widow. If she remarries, my executers are to sell, and my wife is to have 100.
