1822-1839 HISTORY: Descendants... pg 10: " They may have moved away shortly thereafter [marriage] to Marion County about 100 miles northwest. John and Abigail had seven children born in Ohio to them before they loaded their meager belongings in covered wagons and moved west to what is now Sullivan County, Missouri in 1839... They lived in Noble (near Olive), Morgan and Wash. Co., Ohio, prob close to county line or in Morgan Co rather than in Noble... Land had to be cleared for farming & each farm had to be almost totally self-sustaining. There were prob other children born between Alson and David and again between Columbus and Princess.
