William was born in 1675 of West Boldon, Durham, England, second child of Christopher and Dorothy Fawcett. On 26 May 1709 he married Sara Thompson. They had four children: Christopher (4-1), Grace (4-2), Dorothy (4-3), and Joan (4-4). Sarah was born about 1679 of Durham. William was listed as "gentleman" in the LDS Ancestral File. He died 23 January 1719/20. We found his will proved 22 June 1732 in Durham.
