The Probate Record of Thomas Speirs Thomas died without a will. Through this an extensive probate file of 150 pages was created in which all of his possible heirs had to be notified. His estate was valued at around $4000 in 1877 (equivalent to just under $90,000 in 2016). Adam Speirs, Thomas' son, was the petitioner for the estate. | ||
