Lorentz Petersen and the Hyrum Band A few years after their marriage, Lorentz was made leader of the Hyrum Band. All the kids were accustomed to the sound of cornet practice. While leader he got Typhoid fever. After he improved some, the band wanted to serenade him. The noise and excitement of the band cause a relapse which almost cost him his life. | ||
